They’re looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead financial operations, strengthen controls and provide the insight that supports business performance. This hybrid role is based in Northampton, with 1-2 days per week on site, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
*Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring robust financial controls and accurate reporting.
*Own the month-end close, management accounts and cash flow reporting.
*Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across the business.
*Partner with operational, commercial and technical teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
*Support audit processes, compliance requirements and continuous process improvement.
*Enhance reporting, systems and finance processes to improve efficiency and visibility.
*Provide commercial analysis and financial support to senior leadership.
What You’ll Bring*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role.
*Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial control experience.
*Proven ability to deliver budgets, forecasts and insightful management reporting.
*A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Experience within engineering, manufacturing, technology or other project-based organisations would be advantageous.
Package£80,000-£90,000 + benefits
*Hybrid working (1-2 days per week on site)
*Based in Northampton
*High levels of autonomy and exposure to senior leadership
