You’ll be responsible for driving financial planning, analysis and forecasting processes, ensuring the business runs efficiently and makes informed decisions. A leading UK based financial services group providing audit, tax, accounting, and consulting services to SMEs, entrepreneurs, and private clients.
Description
*Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
*Develop and maintain driver-based financial models, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
*Partner with business leaders to understand key performance drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
*Produce monthly management reports, executive dashboards, and Board reporting, providing clear analysis of financial performance against budget, forecast, prior year, and KPIs.
*Deliver actionable insights into business performance, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
*Collaborate with Financial Control to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting.
*Act as a trusted finance partner to operational, commercial, and functional leaders, providing financial challenge and strategic support.
*Prepare financial models, business cases, investment appraisals, and profitability analysis to support commercial and strategic initiatives.
*Present financial performance and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
*Manage and enhance Workday Adaptive Planning, maintaining planning models, assumptions, reporting structures, and business drivers.
*Drive improvements in management reporting, planning processes, and data quality through automation and enhanced analytics.
Profile
Key Requirements
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*Significant experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance
*Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
*Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
*Experience using Power BI.
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
