Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Repairs Scheduler on a temporary eight-week contract.
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £19.00 an hour Umbrella.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of repair requests and coordinate appointments effectively. They will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and confident using scheduling systems in a fast-paced housing environment.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Scheduling responsive, routine, and emergency repair appointments for residents
*Liaising with operatives, contractors, and residents to coordinate repairs effectively
*Monitoring outstanding repair jobs and proactively following up to ensure completion
*Updating and maintaining accurate records on housing management and scheduling systems
*Prioritising repair requests in line with organisational policies and service standards
*Providing residents with timely updates regarding repair appointments and progress
*Managing appointment changes, cancellations, and rescheduling requirements
*Handling customer enquiries and resolving repair-related issues professionally
*Supporting the delivery of repair performance targets and service standards
*Escalating complex cases and contractor performance concerns where appropriate
Experience required:
*Experience scheduling repairs, maintenance works, or operational appointments in a busy environment
*Experience delivering excellent customer service and handling enquiries professionally
*Experience using housing management, CRM, or scheduling systems
*Experience coordinating with contractors, operatives, or multiple stakeholders
*Experience maintaining accurate records and updating databases
*Experience prioritising workloads and managing competing demands to meet deadline
Working hours:
*37 hours per week
*Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
