Are you an experienced Driver looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join a busy warehouse operation for a 2-week temporary assignment in August. For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to secure a permanent position within the business following the placement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and fast-paced team where your skills and experience will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.


Assignment Details
*Placement Dates: Monday 3rd August to Friday 14th August
*Induction & Training: 29th, 30th and 31st July (where possible)
*Interview Dates: Week Commencing 27th July
*Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
*Breaks: 1-hour unpaid break (can be taken as 2 x 30-minute breaks)


The Role
As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and trailers across the site.


Key duties include:
*Moving goods between warehouse facilities on site.
*Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.
*Safely manoeuvring vehicles within a busy yard and tight-space environment.
*Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to prioritise the movement of goods.
*Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.


What We’re Looking For


To be successful in this role, you will have:
*A full UK Category B driving licence.
*LGV Category C licence and a valid yard shunter/competency certificate.
*Previous experience shunting trailers within a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
*Excellent spatial awareness and a strong commitment to safe working practices.
*A reliable, flexible approach and availability for an immediate start.
