Location: Battersea, London (3 days/week onsite)

Contract Type: 12 Months (Full-Time Hours)

Rate: £236.19 per day PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

The Role: Automation First

We are seeking a Finance Automation Analyst whose primary passion and expertise lie in eliminating manual workflows. In this role, hands-on automation experience is the number one priority .

You will be tasked with identifying and automating a heavy volume of manual processes across the business . While there is a significant focus on transforming royalty operations, you will have equal responsibility for automating core finance workflows-including accruals, costs, and revenue processing.

What You’ll Do
*Spot manual, repetitive workflows across both royalty and finance operations, designing robust, scalable replacements from scratch .
*Build automated checks for revenue reconciliations, DSP sales report processing, and VAT reconciliations on royalty statements .
*Streamline financial operations by automating processes related to monthly accruals, costs, and transactional revenue tracking.
*Standardize data ingestion as digital partners and sales statements evolve over time .
*Partner directly with Finance and Royalty leaders to consult on systemic upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and ad-hoc data projects .
*Write crystal-clear system documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for newly automated pipelines .
What We’re Looking For

1. Core Automation Expertise *Real, hands-on experience automating end-to-end operational workflows and manipulating large datasets .
*Tool Agnostic: You must be highly proficient in building robust automation logic using at least one of the following tools: Power Query, SQL, Python, or Tableau . We don’t mind which one you use, as long as you can leverage it to successfully eliminate manual work .
2. Finance & Royalty Operations *Strong foundational experience in Finance workflows (understanding data logic behind accruals, costs, and revenue processing).
*Strong foundational experience in Royalty operations (ideally within music or entertainment, handling royalty platforms, statements, or artist contracts) .
