Full job descriptionA specialist construction consultancy based in London is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing team. The Project Manager will work on a varied portfolio of office, hotel and residential developments across the capital, supporting clients from the early planning stages through to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants greater responsibility and exposure to high-quality London projects. The successful Project Manager will join a collaborative consultancy where the Project Manager can work closely with experienced senior colleagues, clients, consultants and contractors. The Project Manager will have the chance to develop across several sectors rather than being limited to one project type.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.


The Project Manager’s roleThe Project Manager will support and lead projects through the full development lifecycle, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover.
The Project Manager will coordinate consultant teams, prepare project programmes, monitor progress and maintain regular communication with clients. They will also assist with risk management, reporting, procurement strategy and the management of project budgets.
Projects will include new-build and refurbishment schemes across the office, hotel and residential sectors. The role will suit someone who enjoys variety and wants to build strong experience across complex London developments.


The Project ManagerThe successful Project Manager will have:
*Previous Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
*Experience working on office, hotel, residential or similar property projects
*A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related discipline
*Progress towards, or an interest in achieving, a professional qualification with RICS, APM or CIOB
*Experience working across multiple RIBA stages
*Strong communication, organisation and client-facing skills
*The ability to manage several priorities and work effectively within a project team
