If so, Academics Ltd would love to hear from you. We are looking for a compassionate and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming primary and secondary schools across Bristol.
In this role, you’ll be the vital link helping pupils overcome barriers to learning - empowering them to grow in confidence, thrive socially, and achieve their goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Providing tailored 1:1 support that meets the individual needs of pupils
*Encouraging pupils to actively take part in lessons and wider school life
*Implementing targeted strategies to help pupils make measurable progress
*Building strong, positive and trusting relationships with pupils
*Working hand-in-hand with class teachers and communicating with parents to celebrate success and track development
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience working with children or young people
*Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN
*An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
*Two recent professional references
