Randstad Education is on the hunt for warm, energetic, and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistants and 1:1 Support Assistants to join fantastic, supportive primary schools across Liverpool.
Whether you’re looking for flexible day-to-day supply, a steady long-term placement, or a full-time role, we have exciting opportunities waiting for you to step into the classroom.
Why You’ll Love Working in KS1Key Stage 1 is where the real educational magic begins! As a TA or 1:1 Support Assistant, you get to be the encouraging voice, the patient listener, and the champion every young learner needs.
You’ll be helping 5 to 7-year-olds navigate their first big steps in school by:
* Bringing Learning to Life: Helping small groups master phonics, early maths, and creative storytelling.
* Being a 1:1 Champion: Giving tailored support to children with SEND, ADHD, ASD, or SEMH needs so they feel confident and included.
* Fostering Independence: Guiding little hands through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and classroom routines.
* Building Big Confidence: Being a calm, positive, and reassuring presence when things feel a little overwhelming.
Who Are We Looking For?You don’t need years of formal classroom experience-just a big heart, plenty of patience, and a genuine passion for helping young children thrive!
We love hearing from people with backgrounds in:
*Primary Schools & Nurseries
*SEND or Care/Support Settings
*Youth Work & Childcare
Experience with speech and language needs, ASD, or behavioural support is a brilliant bonus, but a positive, "can-do" attitude is what matters most!
