Full job descriptionCredit Controller (Temporary) - LeatherheadLocation: Leatherhead (2 days per week in the office)
Contract: 3 months initially
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on an initial 3-month temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in public sector credit control who can confidently manage outstanding debt while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities*Managing a portfolio of outstanding debt.
*Chasing overdue payments via telephone and email.
*Building and maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
*Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
*Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts where required.
*Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
*Supporting the wider finance team to reduce aged debt and improve cash collection.
About YouTo be considered, you’ll have:
*Proven experience in a Credit Control role.
*Previous experience collecting debt from NHS organisations, Local Authorities, or other Public Sector organisations.
*Strong communication and negotiation skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
*Availability to start at short notice.
