Description
Management Accountant responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
*Analyse financial performance and provide commentary on variances to budgets and forecasts.
*Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
*Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
*Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
*Maintain and improve financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
*Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed by management.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
*Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
*Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
*Experience with budget preparation and forecasting
*Ability to develop and implement financial systems and processes
*Excellent communication skills to work across departments
Job Offer
Management Accountant:
*Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 per annum
