An established and highly respected professional services organisation based in Diss is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join its finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounts professional looking to join a supportive and collaborative business where they can utilise their existing accounting knowledge while continuing to develop their career within a stable and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing and posting month-end journals
*Managing accruals and prepayments
*Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
*Reconciling balance sheet accounts
*Bank reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance function
*Assisting with management accounts preparation
*Processing financial transactions and ensuring data accuracy
*Supporting audits and compliance requirements
*Ad hoc finance and accounting duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous experience working within an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
*Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*A proactive and positive approach to work
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
