Full job descriptionRemote Clinical Negligence Solicitor
A leading claimant law firm is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its highly regarded team and can offer solid levels of flexibility to include home working. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical negligence lawyer looking to handle complex, high-value claims within a supportive, collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
You will manage your own varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, taking responsibility for developing case strategy and progressing matters to a successful conclusion. The role will involve drafting key legal documents, including Letters of Claim and expert instructions, negotiating settlements and overseeing litigated matters where necessary. Working closely with clients, medical experts, counsel and colleagues across the firm, you will deliver exceptional client service while helping to achieve the team’s wider objectives.
You will have proven experience handling complex claimant clinical negligence claims, with strong litigation, drafting, negotiation and client care skills. You will be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing your own workload, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders. Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members would be advantageous but is not essential.
