Location: Canterbury
Job Type: Full time/permanent
Salary: £32,000 - £39,000 per annum (dependent on experience) OTE £44,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our clients busy workshop. The successful candidate will carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs across a mixed fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy and returned on time.
Key responsibilities:
*Diagnose faults and complete repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering and electrical systems
*Carry out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance to manufacturer standards
*Perform vehicle inspections and document work accurately
*Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools safely and effectively
*Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow health & safety procedures
*Communicate with workshop colleagues and supervisors to prioritise work and meet deadlines
*Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards
Essential requirements:
*Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair
*Strong attention to detail and take pride in completing quality work
*Full UK driving licence
