Financial Accountant / Warrington (Flexible hybrid working) / £50,000 - £55,000Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a leading international business to recruit a Financial Accountant for their UK finance team based in Warrington.

This position is ideally suited to a qualified ACA or ACCA professional from a Top 10 accountancy firm who is keen to gain broad exposure within a large corporate environment. Working as part of an established financial reporting team, you’ll play a key role in statutory reporting, audit coordination, compliance activities and wider finance projects, while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the UK business.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Producing and reviewing monthly financial reporting information
*Supporting the delivery of group and statutory audits across multiple entities
*Preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor requests
*Assisting with external reporting requirements and financial compliance processes
*Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns
*Providing assistance on technical accounting matters where required
*Contributing to wider finance initiatives, business projects and tender support activities
*Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting deadlines are met
To be considered, you’ll ideally have:
*ACA or ACCA qualification gained within a Top 10 UK accountancy practice
*Exposure to external audit engagements
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
*Advanced Excel capability and strong general systems knowledge
*The ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams
