Hybrid working after 3 months’ probation (then 1 week 3 days office, 2 days home, 2nd week 3 days home, 2 days office)

Responsibilities include:
*Produce accurate and compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
*Conduct technical research to support advisers in delivering tailored financial planning solutions.
*Analyse client information and make appropriate recommendations based on individual objectives.
*Prepare and review cashflow planning reports using financial planning software.
*Liaise with providers to obtain policy information, valuations and illustrations.
*Ensure all recommendations comply with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
*Support Financial Advisers before and after client meetings by preparing meeting packs and technical documentation.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using the firm’s CRM system.
*Keep abreast of legislative, regulatory and product changes within the financial planning sector.
*Manage your own workload effectively, ensuring deadlines and service standards are met.
*Build strong working relationships with advisers, administrators and external providers.
*Assist with complex cases and provide technical support across the wider financial planning team.
*Review and check documentation to ensure accuracy before submission.
*Contribute to continuous improvements in processes and client service delivery.

Skills and experience required:
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a paraplanning role or similar, writing complex and detailed reports.
• Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) or working towards is essential.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of pensions/retirement planning, investments, tax planning and regulation within the financial services industry.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in an accessible manner.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills in all aspects of the role, including multitasking and time management.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of industry standards with a commitment to continuous learning and a proactive approach to developing and applying new skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: High level of competency using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
