We’re recruiting a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming secondary school in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience or continue their career in education within a supportive school environment.
The Role:
*Support students across a range of secondary subjects
*Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions
*Assist teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
*Encourage positive behaviour and promote student wellbeing
*Help pupils build confidence, independence and achieve their learning goals
*Prepare classroom resources and provide general classroom support
We’re Looking For:
*Experience working with secondary-aged students in a school, youth work, coaching or similar setting
*A positive, patient and enthusiastic attitude
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
*A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
*Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH or additional learning needs is advantageous but not essential
