Description
*Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
*Reconcile balance sheets and manage financial controls.
*Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
*Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
*Assist with cash flow management and cost control measures.
*Collaborate with different departments to provide financial guidance and support.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
*Able to commute to our client’s office in Newark.
*Strong technical accounting skills and an analytical mindset.
*Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
*Confidence in working with financial systems and Excel.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Discretionary bonus.
*Permanent position in Newark.
