Purpose of the RoleTo assemble and wire electrical control panels in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and company standards, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high quality.
Key Responsibilities*Build and wire control panels from technical drawings and work instructions.
*Identify and report any issues that may affect production, quality, or project timelines.
*Ensure components, wiring, and panel layouts are installed correctly and in line with specifications.
*Communicate effectively with managers and engineering teams throughout the build process.
*Complete quality checks before panels are submitted for testing and inspection.
*Rectify faults or modifications identified during testing.
*Support the maintenance of accurate manufacturing records and documentation.
*Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
Skills & ExperienceEssential Requirements*Experience in electrical panel assembly, wiring, or a similar manufacturing environment.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
*Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
*Competent in the use of workshop tools, equipment, and basic IT systems.
*Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
*Understanding of health and safety requirements within a workshop environment.
