A well-established and growing organisation based in the Haydock area is seeking an experienced Head of Payroll to lead its payroll function and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and partnering with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead and develop the payroll team.
*Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
*Maintain compliance with UK payroll legislation.
*Manage payroll controls, reporting and audit requirements.
*Act as the key escalation point for payroll-related matters.
*Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
*Support payroll projects and system enhancements.
About You
*Previous experience leading a payroll function.
*Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
*Experience managing and developing payroll staff.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
