Description
*Prepare and analyse financial reports to support operational decision-making.
*Maintain accurate budgets and forecasts for various departments.
*Work closely with operational teams to track performance metrics.
*Provide detailed variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
*Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts.
*Review and improve financial controls and processes.
*Support ad-hoc financial projects as required.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant - Operations should have:
*A professional accounting qualification or relevant degree.
*Strong analytical skills with a focus on operational finance.
*Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
*Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
*An ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
*Annual salary between £45,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*A 10% bonus.
