Yes, you heard it right! We are currently hiring confident, engaging Cover Supervisors for secondary schools located in Crosby, and the surrounding areas of Sefton (L20, L21, L22, and L23).
Whether you’ve supported young people with complex needs, managed challenging behaviours, or provided 1:1 care, this is your opportunity to bring that valuable experience into secondary classrooms. You’ll lead classes, support diverse learning styles, and keep students engaged.

Requirements:
*Practical background in SEN support, care work, youth mentoring, 1:1 assistance, or classroom support.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teenagers.
*Confidence with classroom management and handling low-level disruption assertively.
*Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Key Duties:
*Supervise high school classes (KS3 & KS4) during short-term teacher absences.
*Deliver pre-set work and learning instructions provided by the department.
*Maintain strong classroom control using the school’s positive behaviour policies.
*Keep students focused and on-task throughout each lesson period.
*Collect completed work and report back to the subject department head.
