Description
*Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
*Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns.
*Provide tax planning advice tailored to individual client needs.
*Assist with HMRC enquiries and correspondence.
*Identify opportunities for tax savings and relay these to clients.
*Support junior team members with technical queries and training.
*Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients remain compliant.
*Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
Profile
A successful Personal Tax Senior should have:
*Strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance.
*Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
*Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
*A professional qualification in accounting or tax (e.g., ATT, CTA, or equivalent).
*An organised and detail-oriented approach to meet deadlines effectively.
