Are you passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) thrive? We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Salford, supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored support to children with a range of additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The Role*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
*Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties and other additional needs.
*Adapt learning activities to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
*Promote confidence, independence and engagement in the classroom.
*Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to implement support plans.
*Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate*Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
*A patient, compassionate and proactive approach.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*The ability to remain calm, adaptable and supportive.
*Experience within schools, specialist provisions, care settings or youth work is desirable.
