Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring financial information is processed accurately and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions.
*Reconciling supplier and customer accounts.
*Assisting with bank reconciliations.
*Preparing payment runs.
*Supporting credit control activities where required.
*Processing employee expenses.
*Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting.
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
*Providing general support to the wider finance team.
Profile
We’re looking for someone who has:
*Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
*Experience using accounting software.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
*The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a busy team.
*A desire to continue learning and develop a long-term career in finance.
