A highly regarded London law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy and successful property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive paralegal with residential conveyancing experience to work closely with an experienced fee-earner, supporting a broad range of high-quality property transactions from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
The Role
You will play a key role in assisting with the day-to-day management of residential conveyancing matters, providing both legal and administrative support throughout the transaction lifecycle. Working within a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will gain exposure to a varied caseload and benefit from genuine opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
*Supporting residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion
*Opening files and carrying out AML and compliance checks
*Assisting with exchange, completion and post-completion formalities
*Preparing reports on title, mortgage documentation and searches under supervision
*Raising and reviewing enquiries on title, contract packs, searches and surveys
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors to progress transactions efficiently
*Drafting financial statements and invoices
*Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous experience supporting residential conveyancing matters within a law firm
*A strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
*Experience raising enquiries, reviewing replies and assisting with report drafting
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
*Strong communication and client care skills
*A proactive, team-focused approach and the confidence to use your own initiative
*Relevant legal qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
