Full job descriptionA highly regarded London law firm is seeking a Residential Real Estate Paralegal to join its market-leading property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Real Estate Paralegal looking to develop their career within a prestigious practice, supporting high-value residential property transactions for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, overseas investors and private banks.
The successful Residential Real Estate Paralegal will work closely with experienced fee earners on a broad range of prime and super-prime residential property matters, gaining exposure to complex transactions and excellent long-term career development.
The Residential Real Estate Paralegal role:
*Assisting with residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion
*Drafting contracts, transfer deeds and reports on title
*Ordering and reviewing searches and title documents
*Raising and responding to pre-contract enquiries
*Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
*Supporting exchange and completion, including preparing completion statements
*Submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
*Managing post-completion matters and Land Registry requisitions
*Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring regulatory compliance
The successful Residential Real Estate Paralegal:
*Previous residential conveyancing experience within a law firm
*Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
*Excellent organisation and attention to detail
*Strong communication and client care skills
*Confident managing competing deadlines in a busy team
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
*Experience with Elite, Filesite or similar systems would be advantageous
*A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in residential property law
