Full job description UK Branch of an International Bank, offices in the City of London (Liverpool Street).
Description
*Prepare financial accounting information and regulatory submissions.
*Support reporting requirements for UK financial regulators.
*Assist with corporation tax and VAT preparation and submissions.
*Produce daily P&L reporting, analysis and commentary.
*Prepare financial statements and support external audits.
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
*Investigate accounting queries and resolve issues with stakeholders.
*Contribute to finance projects, process improvements and documentation updates.
Profile
*Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant (or QBE)
*Experience within the finance function of al banking organisation or broader Financial Services sector
*Ideally some knowledge of regulatory reporting or hedge accounting - Desirable
*Keen to do a broad hands on role, covering several different areas within the finance function
*Happy to offer support and guidance to junior team members
*Able to manage priorities, meet deadlines and operate in a controlled environment.
