Recruit UK is supporting a highly successful and growing wealth management business with the appointment of an experienced Senior Financial Planner to join their Truro office.
Job Description:
Our client has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality wealth management services, helping clients achieve their financial goals through trusted relationships and personalised financial planning.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner to take ownership of an established client bank, focusing on delivering exceptional advice and building long-term client relationships. You will be supported by experienced paraplanning and the administration teams allowing you to focus on the clients.
The role will involve inheriting and developing an existing client bank of approximately £60 million AUM, providing a strong platform for continued growth. This is a hybrid opportunity, with time spent in the Truro office alongside regular client meetings across the local area.
Responsibilities:
*Manage and develop an established client bank, delivering holistic advice.
*Build strong, long-term client relationships and deliver an excellent experience.
*Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.
*Work closely with paraplanning and client support teams.
*Develop relationships with professional introducers.
*Ensure all advice meets FCA regulatory requirements and internal standards.
*Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and CPD.

Skills and Experience Required:
*Proven experience as a Financial Planner managing and developing client relationships
*Chartered / near Chartered status
*CAS / SPS
*Client focused approach and a team player
