Job Title: Business Tutor (Part Time)
Location: Centre based
Salary: up to £40,000 PRO RATA to 15 hours (Depending on skills and experience)
Type: Part time role for 15 hours per week. (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12-5pm)
Essential Criteria:*Hold a teaching qualification – level 4 or above
*Experience of delivering vocational training – and ideally experience of teaching or assessing Business Enterprise or similar.
*Hold a Business-related qualification or similar
*Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to small groups of learners.
*Must be IT Literate.
Duties include:*Deliver the SFEDI Business Course to small groups of learners who are looking to develop their Business/Self Employment skills, knowledge and behaviours.
*Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
*Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
*Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
*Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
*Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
