Description
*Assist in the planning, execution and completion of external audit assignments
*Support Audit Seniors and Managers throughout the audit process
*Conduct audit fieldwork for a varied client portfolio across different sectors
*Prepare audit working papers and documentation to a high professional standard
*Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP
*Identify and investigate audit risks and key areas of concern
*Liaise directly with clients regarding audit queries and information requests
*Support the completion of audit files and clearance of review points
*Develop an understanding of client systems, controls and business processes
*Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
*Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
*Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development


Profile
*ACA or ACCA part-qualified, or actively studying towards qualification
*Recent experience within an accountancy practice audit role
*Experience assisting on external audit assignments
*Good understanding of audit methodology and International Standards on Auditing
*Experience preparing accounts under UK GAAP would be advantageous
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Excellent organisational and time management abilities
*Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
