*Develop and execute a comprehensive internal audit plan.
*Identify, assess and report on key risks to the organisation.
*Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulations.
*Provide actionable recommendations to address identified risks and improve processes.
*Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on risk management strategies.
*Prepare clear and concise audit reports for senior management and stakeholders.
*Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
*Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes affecting the transport and distribution sector.
Profile
A successful Internal Audit & Risk Manager should have:
*A professional qualification in ACA
*Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies and risk management practices.
*Experience in the infrastructure industry or a similar sector.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
*A proactive approach to identifying and managing risks.
