Full job descriptionA newly created FP&A Manager role offering the chance to take ownership of a strategically important cashflow and working capital workstream within a global PLC. You’ll combine strong FP&A and analytical skills with commercial thinking to improve forecasting, challenge the numbers and drive meaningful change across the business.

The business is a large, global PLC operating across multiple international markets. The division is experiencing significant growth and transformation, with high transaction volumes and a complex working capital model. As the business continues to evolve, cashflow, profitability and operational efficiency are firmly on the strategic agenda, with significant investment being made into systems, processes and automation. This is an exciting time to join, with the opportunity to be part of a high-profile transformation and make a tangible impact on how the business manages and forecasts cash.
Description
You’ll take ownership of the business’s cashflow forecasting, reporting and analysis, working closely with senior Finance stakeholders and teams across the wider business.


Your responsibilities will include:
*Owning the 13-week rolling cashflow forecast, alongside longer-term cash planning
*Analysing AR, AP, DSO, DPO and working capital movements
*Understanding the key drivers behind cash movements and challenging variances
*Bringing together information from multiple systems and turning complex data into a clear, concise story
*Reporting cashflow performance to Group and senior stakeholders
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes, forecasting accuracy and working capital
*Supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives
*Helping the business understand not just where cash is, but why it is there and what can be done to improve it


Profile
You could be an experienced FP&A professional looking for a role with more ownership, or someone with a strong analytical background who has developed a real interest in cashflow and working capital.


You’ll ideally have:


*Strong FP&A, financial analysis or management accounting experience
*Excellent Excel skills
*Experience with forecasting and variance analysis
*A good understanding of cashflow and working capital
*The confidence to work with both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*A naturally inquisitive approach - you don’t just accept the numbers at face value
*The confidence to challenge, influence and ask difficult questions.
Job Offer
*Salary of £55,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Annual Bonus.
*Hybrid working with 2-3 days per week required in office in Warrington.
