About the Firm
A distinguished, fully independent Chartered Financial Planning firm is expanding its advisory team. Known for delivering bespoke wealth management to affluent families, the firm combines technical excellence with a genuinely collaborative culture—no aggressive targets, just exceptional client outcomes.
About the Role
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced adviser who thrives on relationship-led work. You’ll inherit and manage an established portfolio of approximately 100 high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, focusing entirely on delivering comprehensive financial planning and advice. With no business development pressure, you can concentrate on deepening client relationships and uncovering planning opportunities as their circumstances evolve.
Your Core Responsibilities:
*Manage and service an established client portfolio of circa 100 HNW/UHNW families
*Conduct thorough annual and ad-hoc client reviews
*Deliver holistic financial planning advice across retirement, pensions, investments, IHT, estates, succession and protection
*Identify and implement planning opportunities as client needs develop
*Build and maintain trusted long-term client relationships, generating referrals through exceptional service delivery
*Collaborate with clients’ professional advisers and family members on integrated planning
*Work alongside an experienced paraplanning and support team to deliver a superior client experience
What We’re Looking For
*Chartered Financial Planner status (or near completion)
*Demonstrable experience managing HNW and/or UHNW client portfolios
*Strong technical knowledge: pensions, investments, trusts, estates and tax planning
*Relationship-led approach with genuine passion for client outcomes
*Polished communication and stakeholder management skills
*Organisational discipline and attention to detail in portfolio management
*Professional, collaborative working style
What’s on Offer
*Base salary up to £75,000
*Performance-related bonus scheme
*Established client base from day one—no cold-calling or building a book
*Technical independence—fully independent advice proposition
*Reputation and stability—Chartered firm with strong market standing
*Work-life balance—hybrid flexibility and manageable workload
*Team support—experienced paraplanning resource and collaborative environment
*Career development—genuine long-term progression opportunities
