Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Location: Speke
Salary: £16.25p/h
We are recruiting a Production Operative to join a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused on batch production and quality-driven manufacturing processes. If you have proven batch production experience and previous manufacturing experience, we want to hear from you! Please note, this role involves heavy lifting.
Key responsibilities
*Operate and monitor batch production processes to produce materials to specification
*Weigh, measure and accurately mix raw materials and formulations according to batch sheets
*Prepare, load and unload ovens and curing equipment; assist with spray/powder application lines where required
*Carry out pre-treatment tasks (masking, degreasing, blasting) and basic surface preparation as needed
*Perform quality checks and inspections, record batch data and maintain production paperwork
*Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all health & safety, COSHH and PPE procedures
*Report equipment faults and assist with routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
*Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
*Heavy lifting of materials (25kg and above).
Essential skills and experience
*Batch production experience - ability to follow batch sheets and maintain accurate production records
*Previous manufacturing experience is essential
*Practical experience in powder coating and/or paint production or application processes
*Good attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality
*Comfortable working in a physically active role (lifting, standing for long periods)
*Basic numeracy and the ability to follow technical instructions and formulations
*Flexible approach to shift patterns and overtime when required
*Ability to lift heavy items
