Description


*Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
*Produce budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
*Analyse costs, margins and business performance
*Support with project costing and financial analysis
*Monitor project spend and profitability
*Provide financial insight to support business decisions
*Work closely with operational teams to understand costs and performance
*Identify areas for cost control and process improvement
*Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
*Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants/auditors
*Develop and improve financial reporting and processes
*Get involved in ad-hoc projects and commercial analysis as required


Profile


*Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
*Strong management accounting and month-end experience
*Good understanding of costing, budgets and variance analysis
*Experience working with projects or project-based costs would be beneficial
*Strong Excel skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*The confidence to work with stakeholders across the business
*A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
*A desire to add value rather than simply produce reports


Job Offer


*£45,000 - £50,000 salary
