Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Hackney, starting in September 2026.
The successful candidate will be passionate about Art and committed to inspiring students through creative, engaging and challenging lessons. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher to join a supportive school and make a real difference to students’ learning and development.
The Role*Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4.
*Plan and deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons.
*Inspire students to develop their artistic skills, confidence and creativity.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
*Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Art department and across the school.
The Ideal Candidate*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
*Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and education.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
*A positive, professional and flexible approach.
