We’re recruiting for an experienced Residential Surveyor to join a forward-thinking surveying business as it continues to grow its residential division. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an expanding organisation where you’ll focus on delivering high-quality residential survey reports without the pressures of mortgage valuations or lender panel work.
The Role
As a Residential Surveyor, you will:
*Carry out Level 2 HomeBuyer Surveys across your designated region
*Produce clear, detailed reports using the company’s digital reporting platform
*Manage your own diary and workload while maintaining high professional standards
*Deliver completed reports promptly, including same-day turnaround where appropriate
*Ensure every survey is completed accurately and in line with industry best practice
*Survey residential investment properties, primarily purchased by professional landlords and property investors
Residential Surveyor requirements:
*MRICS qualification essential (AssocRICS candidates with relevant surveying experience will also be considered)
*Around two years’ post-qualification experience
*Previous experience carrying out Level 2 residential surveys
*Strong understanding of residential construction methods and common building defects
*Excellent report-writing and communication skills
*Ability to work independently and effectively manage a regional workload
*Professional, customer-focused approach
