Our client based in Hertfordshire is a growing professional services organisation supporting clients across the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance function and support strategic decision-making within the business.
Description
*Produce monthly management accounts and board reports
*Lead month-end and year-end close processes
*Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
*Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights
*Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions
*Prepare VAT returns and support external audits
*Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
*Partner with department managers to improve financial performance
*Mentor and develop junior finance staff
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
*A strong background in accounting and finance, with either a professional qualification or finalist (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
*Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
*Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
*Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
*The ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
