The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic SEND Tutors to provide individualised tuition to children and young people across Wrexham.
You’ll support learners with a variety of additional needs, creating personalised sessions that reflect their individual abilities, interests and learning goals. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and adapting their teaching to help every learner make progress.
Position Details
* Location: Wrexham
* Position: SEND Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND
* Previous teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
* A patient, flexible and engaging approach
Experience supporting learners with ASC, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs would be beneficial.
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
