The Role
You’ll be responsible for producing accurate monthly management accounts while supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
*Preparing monthly management accounts, journals, accruals and prepayments
*Completing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end close
*Producing management reporting, variance analysis and commentary
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
*Business partnering with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight
*Monitoring revenue, costs and gross margin performance
*Supporting audit and statutory reporting requirements
*Identifying opportunities to improve reporting and finance processes
*Assisting with ad hoc commercial analysis to support decision-making


About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships and adding value beyond the numbers.
You’ll ideally have:
*Previous Management Accounting experience
*Strong month-end experience including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
*Experience producing management accounts and financial reporting
*Good Excel skills
*Budgeting and forecasting exposure
*Strong communication skills and confidence working with non-finance stakeholders
*A proactive approach with a genuine interest in improving processes
*Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) candidates considered
