Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking to join a busy and supportive finance team? We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records through timely bank reconciliations and transaction processing.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and reconciliations experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Process daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple company bank accounts.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of banking transactions and supporting documentation.
*Investigate and resolve outstanding items, discrepancies, and unreconciled transactions in a timely manner.
*Process and reconcile customer payments and refunds across various payment methods, including credit cards, cheques, and online payment platforms.
*Accurately post financial transactions to the accounting system within agreed timescales.
*Support month-end and year-end processes by ensuring reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule.
*Respond promptly and professionally to finance-related queries.
*Provide general administrative support to the wider finance team.
*Participate in team meetings and contribute towards achieving departmental objectives and deadlines.
*Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the finance function maintains a high standard of service and accuracy.
About You
*Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or administrative role.
*Strong bank reconciliation experience would be highly advantageous.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
*Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies effectively.
*Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Strong organisational and time management skills.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
*Proactive approach and willingness to support the wider finance function.
