Are you an experienced customer service professional with a background in the housing sector? Do you thrive in a busy, fast-paced office environment where no two days are the same? We are seeking a Customer Support Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to residents, customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service
*Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing a professional and responsive service at all times.
*Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently and effectively.
*Build positive relationships with residents, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
*Ensure all customer interactions are managed with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-focused approach.
Coordinate Customer Support Team:
*Manage and prioritise a high volume of customer queries within agreed service levels.
*Allocate and monitor requests to the relevant departments, contractors, or suppliers.
*Liaise with internal teams to ensure issues are resolved promptly and customers are kept informed.
*Accurately maintain customer records and update systems in a timely manner.
*Assist with complaint handling, investigations, and follow-up actions.
*Produce reports and provide administrative support as required.
*Support the wider team in achieving operational and customer service objectives.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience within the housing sector is essential.
*Experience in a customer service, customer support, housing administration, or housing coordination role.
*Ability to work effectively in a busy office environment and manage multiple priorities.
*Strong organisational and time management skills.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
*A proactive and professional approach with excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
