A leading, privately owned UK property and urban regeneration business is seeking a Financial & Management Accountant to join its corporate finance team in London.
This is a broad and commercially focused role, offering responsibility across financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial controls. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and reporting of a number of group entities and will work closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business.

Key responsibilities*Prepare year-end management accounts and statutory financial statements.
*Lead audit processes and act as a key contact for external auditors.
*Support quarterly management reporting and monthly financial dashboards.
*Oversee financial ledgers, including journal review and approvals.
*Support annual budgets, budget journals and reporting for budget holders.
*Manage monthly cash flow, fees and capital call processes.
*Prepare cash flow budgets and financial analysis.
*Support payroll, tax and finance systems processes.
*Work collaboratively with People, Tax, Finance Systems and project teams to improve processes and controls.
*Line manage and oversee the work of a Corporate Accountant.
*Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and the flow of information across the business.
About youYou will be a qualified accountant , ideally with a background in financial and/or management accounting. You should have strong experience across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting, together with statutory accounts preparation.

*Commercially aware and confident working with stakeholders.
*A proactive, self-starting "can-do" individual.
*Strong in project and process management.
*Confident improving financial controls and processes.
*Comfortable working across multiple entities and priorities.
*A clear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively.
*Curious, adaptable and willing to challenge existing ways of working.
