We’re working with an exciting and fast-growing homewares and accessories business that is looking for a Junior Production Merchandiser to join its busy and collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has experience managing purchase orders and working closely with factories/suppliers, and who is ready to take the next step in their career.

The role would suit someone from either a retailer or supplier background.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage purchase orders from placement through to final delivery, ensuring all details are accurate and up to date.

*Liaise regularly with overseas factories and suppliers to track orders, production progress and delivery dates.

*Manage production critical paths, following up on key milestones and ensuring deadlines are achieved.

*Monitor supplier acknowledgements, quantities, costs, lead times and delivery information.

*Proactively identify production or delivery issues and work with suppliers and internal teams to find solutions.

*Maintain accurate systems and reporting, ensuring stakeholders have clear and timely updates.

*Work closely with teams across merchandising, planning, logistics, quality and sales to keep orders moving efficiently.

*Build strong relationships with suppliers and support the wider team in improving supplier performance and on-time delivery.

About You:
*Previous experience in production merchandising, merchandising, buying, purchasing or supply chain.

*Confident managing purchase orders and following them through the production lifecycle.

*Experience liaising directly with factories or overseas suppliers.

*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.

*A proactive go-getter who takes ownership, spots problems early and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and get things moving.

* Strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced, growing environment.
