Full job descriptionA well established organisation in West London is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of day to day financial operations and support senior management with planning and analysis. Responsibilities for the role:
As Finance Manager, you’ll oversee the full financial function, from management accounts and budgeting through to payroll, VAT, and year end reporting.
*Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
*Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
*Oversee purchase and sales ledger functions
*Run payroll and statutory payments
*Prepare VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
*Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
*Produce year end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors
*Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards
*Improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
*Support senior management with financial planning and business analysis
*Manage credit control and monitor cash flow
*Lead and support the wider finance team
Requirements for the role:
*A recognised accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA), part or fully qualified
*Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or Senior Accountant
*Strong working knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial regulations
*Proven experience with management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
*Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
*Good analytical and problem solving skills
*Strong organisational skills and clear communication
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
*A sharp eye for detail when handling financial information
