Job Description:
Full job descriptionBerry Recruitment are looking for experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers in the Ipswich area.
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, Early Starts
Nights Out: £50 per night out in truck.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Wear correct PPE
*Transporting clean water (collecting & tipping)
*Vehicle is legally compliant
*Check systems, vehicles, equipment, tools and machinery before use - report defects
*Know your vehicle
*Carry correct licence/DCPC/Tacho card
*Correct vehicle position and safe vehicle loading
*Prevent and report overweight vehicles
*Personal safety & that of the crew and people around them
*Vehicle is clean
*Report service, safety and environmental issues
*Stop the job if it’s unsafe, report to your Supervisor
*Complete drivers debrief
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
*Effective Communication
*Time Management
*Driving a large/LGV vehicles
*Waste industry desirable
*Team working
