About the RoleWe are recruiting a 7.5-tonne Driver for a well-established merchant company, offering a stable permanent position with excellent working hours and a friendly team environment.
This role involves one scheduled drop per day, covering routes across the UK. You’ll be representing the business on every delivery, so a professional, friendly and customer-focused approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities*Complete one UK-wide delivery per day in a 7.5-tonne vehicle
*Provide excellent customer service at each drop
*Ensure safe loading, unloading and secure transport of goods
*Maintain accurate delivery records and follow company procedures
*Represent the business positively with a bubbly, approachable manner
*Operate a modern, automatic vehicle (3 years old)
Requirements*Valid CPC qualification
*7.5-tonne licence
*Strong customer service skills
*Friendly, bubbly and professional personality
*Reliable, punctual and confident working independently
*Experience covering UK routes is desirable
