Full job descriptionAre you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity in Chippenham? Hays Education is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Chippenham and the surrounding areas who are seeking dedicated HLTAs to support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic HLTA who enjoys making a positive impact on pupils’ progress, delivering targeted interventions, and confidently covering classes when required.
The Role
*Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
*Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
*Lead small group and 1:1 interventions
*Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
*Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
*Foster a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
*HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
*Previous experience working within a UK primary school setting
*Confidence leading whole-class learning when needed
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*A proactive and adaptable approach
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Right to work in the UK
