Full job descriptionA market-leading manufacturing business requires a Production Planner to support production planning, scheduling and operational coordination across multiple production areas. Applicants need experience in production planning or supply chain, have MRP/ERP literacy and be familiar with the demands of a manufacturing environment.


The Production Planner will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules across the Havant facility alongside the coordination of sub-contract planning.


Specific duties of the Production Planner include:
*Raise work orders and job cards in MRP
*Capacity planning
*Review customer demand forecast
*Montior progress of production plans and implement changes if required
*Seek to improve OTIF to customer and reduce late deliveries
*Contribute to process improvement, better MRP usage and LEAN initiatives within the broader production planning team


Production Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:
*Previous experience in; production planning, production control, production coordination, scheduling, materials planning or supply chain planning
*Literacy with MRP/ERP systems
*A process-improvement mindset and the desire to drive change
*Previous experience within a manufacturing or production business
*Excellent communication, analytical and relationship building skills
