We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school committed to supporting children with additional needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require extra support, helping them to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
*Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs, SEMH, and other additional learning needs.
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and interventions.
*Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
*Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
*Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
*Patient, resilient, and compassionate approach.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils.
*Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
